2024 Summer Camp "Ukrainians Travel the World"

This Summer our foundation conducted four 10-12 days camps for the average of 40 children,  5 chaperones and 10 volunteer students.  163 children were provided with the opportunity to rest, explore the Carpathian Mountains and have experiences as if they “traveled the world”.   The program was dedicated to the cultures and facts about foreign countries, each day containing specific activities to discover the culture and interesting facts of the country.  The camp was situated on the Mountain where  the children had the opportunity to get away from air raid sirens to be surrounded by nature, learn about plants, wildlife  and take long hikes.  The children also participated in sport competitions, workshops, squad games, evening programs etc. Tetiana Smyk from the USA participated at this camp as a volunteer. She conducted vocal workshops, pottery workshops and was our camp photographer.

UCARE, Inc. financed fully two camps and co-financed fourth camp program.
